Death of blogger !

Yes the blogger within me ha died ;-) , I have joined India’s top Software company. The price for that is I have to top blogging. I don’t have access to update my blog. Most of the mail accounts like g-mail are not accessible. Only costly option is to use my mobile and do a mobile blogging. But in this time of recession may be it is not a good idea. Today I saw Cannon’s 40D DSLR. ! also saw the D-II ….Money Can not buy you happiness … but yes it can buy you a DSLR :-)
I will updating whenver I can :-)... but one good thing is I have started a Newletter that I publish every week... you we want to be added to that mailing list write to thoughtsatwork@googlegroups.com

Leaving to Pondichery. Yesterday we came here had great time. We visited the golden temple in Sripuram. More later....

Last day on earth ?

I got up as if it is last day on earth. Everything was planned in minutes brushing,shaving etc. When I left home it was 7.03 am ...bus comes at 7.05 am. When I came out I see people doing their morning walk as if still they million years... I said " Yes it not last day on earth, get up 5 minutes early !".

TZP-DVD

I bought the DVD yesterday. It has 3 disk one contains the background score,it is beautiful. You also get the paintings,pencil ,book and the scrap book. All comes in a neat painting.

Completing my journey

Few weeks back I took journey of my life, I went in my new black Alto on a journey covering 1505 KMs covering costal Karanataka. It was adventurous, fun and boring at times. Today I could some pictures and most importantly my learnings from the expedition ..

Few thoughts I captured during my journey ..!
* Main purpose of life is to find “The purpose of life”
* Journey of life is beautiful as long as your focus is not the destination
* Reaching the destination safe is important but it is not the only thing
* Just don’t over take for the sake of overtaking, unless you want to go ahead
* When you are overtaking don’t look at the person whom you are overtaking, have your view in the front, to go ahead
* Everyone wants to travel
* On a long journey, just prepare for your next stop.
* Start your journey with full tank (of petrol)
* When you want to stop, STOP
* Trust yourself, if you can not… trust your car
* If you are afraid of loneliness, don’t start your journey alone!
* You are never alone in any journey; you will always have your thoughts with you.
* Best way to enjoy a journey when you are alone is to have cell-phone with GPRS
* Don’t worry about raising fuel price; they are never going to come down.
* If you don’t write well, take a good camera!
* At one point you should complete your journey, so that you can take the next one
* There in nothing like “The purpose of life”, you create one

Another journey ...day 2

I was in big dilemma about posting,since I have not yet completed
updating details of the first journey .. but there was no way I could
stop since the journy has already begun ... a journy which Life takes
you through ... Yes it about my new job. I joined here yesterday , now
almost 36 hours... it was like back to the Big b____ (beautiful?)
corporate world.
Let me tell you the day one story ... better you hear it from my
friend Srinivas.
Me : hey how was it ?
Srinivas : My frind is on the call he is also asking the same question..
Srinivas : hello..can you hear me ?.. Good ..I came 30 min early ,
repoting tine was 9.00. Waited in the reception then we all went to
one Training hall. Two HR guys came. One lady slightly less weight
tgan what you call obese and young (looked like ) malnaruished guy.
Started our induction in dull voice. First thing was introductions ..
we had to introduce the person next to us. It was as Boring as self
introductions. People claped for first few and lost interest. There
were around 40-50 people joined today out of which 12-15 were ladies
, only one worth looking at twice. As the first one was not enougg
two more female HRs joined ,one had slight hint of cuteness, may be
she was good looking when she joined not when I was joining. The one
HR started one boring presentation said something like we have grown
more than 30% from last 5years... Looking at her I had no doubts they
have grown in size along with the company. I quickly made a resolution
to go for Jog fron tomm. Then to my rescue there was a Tea and pee
break. I wanted go out and have coffee in Coffee Day near by..I found
out that I was not carrying my wallet. I had no money for lunch
also,forgey coffee .. Again post tea session started ..some video etc
In the lunch break one new friend sponsored my lunch. Second half was
bad we had get all our documents verified and to many
instructiins,action items,bank account openings,department
allocation,group photo etc. AND NO TEA
After that I went and meet my team , had quick chat and returned home..
me: waw... thanks for sharing in detail...
Day 2
Almost same as day one in experience (boring,lonely)but no HR threat !
Team is good ..the domain is new..Started with empty Canvas. Beginning
of a new journey !

Not been able upload pictures and complete my travel blog ...
everyone who come to know had one question ... how did you go alone
?....I just smiled ..did not say "..by my car "

Finally ....sweet home

Reached home safely ...I think today Idrove more than
500kms...completed my 6 days journey ..covering 7 districts ,more
than 1505 kms...covered complete costal Karanataka... bye for
now...Good night !

At railway crossing...

I took the road thru Chikkamagalur... oh ! what a journey ...
beautiful and scenic..now 18 kms away..at the railways crossings
..waiting !

It was not railway crossing .:-( .. a fallen tree !

At Shimoga ... via NI NA SAM

Visit to NinaSam was ok...it was closed..could go around the main
person in the office was supposed to come other village after 10.30...
took some pictures and left...

reached Shimoga for my break fast... I have to routes to reach ...let
me think which one to take..

End of day 5

Reached Sagar enroute Jog-falls..,the drive was smooth... some parts
the road was bad...had tough time in the Ghats with rain and low
visibility ... rain was not much..here 9n Sagar did not get
accomadation hence sleeping in my Car... :-) 22.04 Friday the 13th ..

In Sagar...sagar ki kinare !

I reached here but there are no rooms here... I have to go to
Ni-na-sam..they open at 10 am...and their guest house is also full.

870Kms...Leaving now..meet my granny and mama's...lot of things have
changed here but some thungs are as it is like the love and affection!

Day 5 ... Staring afresh

I got up and cup of tea and was thinking it is already late ... It is
just 7.10 am.... may be I will update some pictures and then leave.
From today it is my return journey ..

Dinner time

Having my dinner..and noticed that after long time I'm in a place
where there people ...since it is monson session most of the places I
was\alone !..again it is raining here... Tomm. will be going to Sagar
to visit NiNaSam...on the way will goto Jog falls... hope to get sonme
good pictures ...Hey..where is my Egg curry ..ordered long back.!!!

At Gokarna

Reached Gokarna ...it was raining on the way...Visited Ganesh and
Shiva temples...Sitting near the beach ... I have to find a good place
for lunch ...It is raining and water everywhere ...

On the way took diversion to Idagunji..famous for Lord Ganesh temple
..prestine and peacefully..though it was raining ..enjoyed tge
pkace...All tge wzy saw mank school going kids dressed in neat uniform
and holding cute little umbrella ...now I passed Honnavar and right
now in Kumata...for a cup of Hot Tea.

Day 4 ... Towards Gokarna

It is raining ...I have just started ... First thing ..I have to get a
cup of hot tea... see you

Day spent in sleep

Most of the day was sleeping...Downloded pictures... Charged
camera,laptop,cell ..all are fully charged ..me too

Day 3...decided to stay back

I will be staying here for one more day... having food at nearby beach
resturant.. I will update pictures once I go back...

I can hear the sound of ocean ... it is raining and gloomy !...let me
sleep for some more time...there is no hot water here...

End of day 2

Just reached Murdeshwar...my god what a journey !....I was caught in a
heavy rain...with almost zero visibility .... managed and reached
safely ...Here RNS hotel / guest house clean... now I'm waiting for my
food ... some fried rice... I got room in the guest house , I will
have food and then go there...and ceash !...more than 12 hours of
driving...good night !

At Suratkal...

I have stopped at KREC, for a quick snack and Tea. Today's best part
was Bekal Fort.

Getting ready for Day 2 ...

Day one was well spent ... few things I did not take care was about no connectivity of GPRS on some areas... Now also not sure I will be able to post this from this place ...also cost of uploding on my GPRS .. 5ps /10 KB :-) looks there is somebody conunting my 'words' and I will be paying more If I speak more ...!...

They say one picture worth thousand words .. it is true when you are paying by bits :-) .. I will try to post some pictures sometime later.

Stay was good ... homely Kodava host and for my dinner had Egg Masala and some good chapati and rice .. slept early and got up by 6... Spoke with Veena and my father in law ... he was amazed that I have gone alone ... he was askening whether I have taken my handy cam .. that is one thing missing :-)

Now my next point is Bhagamandal ... Kaveri's birthplace (Oh! River Kaveri :-)) ...

I will get ready and leave in next 45 minutes ..

4.40 pm...Reached place called Kakabbe,some 25 km from Virajpet. Got a reasonable accomadation in "Palace" Estate...it is called Palace b'cos it is near some old palace.
It is raining here...Along with me now I have rain.

At Hunusur ...

I have stopped at Hunsur.... going to Virajpet. The road so far is
amazingly good. Coming alone is not that bad you and your little
voice ! ..I have ask for direction ... bye

My blog is not complete if there is no post about this amazing movie Taare Zameen Par, salute to Aamir Khan for producing and directing, he featuring in the movie is bonus, Amole Gupte and Deepa for screenplay and research , Darsheel Safary for excellent acting, trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for beautiful music and Prasoon Joshi for meaning full lyrics.

If you have not watched the movie may be first thing you should do is to plan right away !!, book your tickets before you continue to read this.

One piece of advice is don’t go with your girl friend if you don’t want to show your emotion! , I can only say you are lying if you say you have not cried J !!

But I don’t want to add lot of significance, the best part of this movie is, it is not sad, or heavy (like Sanjay Leela Bansali’s Blackor Devdas !) this one is light and fun, beauty of this movie is it’s sensitiveness somewhere in the movie you get in touch with yourself.

When I was watching I could see we all have gone through the similar experience at least once during our childhood.

1. 3 x 9 = 3
This is ultimate scene in the movie, wonderful depiction of the Child’s world with free flowing imagination.

There are so many things in the movie, may be I can write pages together on each scene, one more scene is one Ishan after coming from school will be arranging puzzle of the big sun and his brother comes and acknowledges his work, Ishan eye brighten up.

2. Ishans parents leave him in the boarding school and go with the intention that he will improve. In Ishans world he was left alone and feels lonely.

Many times you might feel you are helpless like Isahn, you may not want to show/share that you can not do it, you might feel lonely, you may be doing your best but still not getting the results, you might be really good at few things but not able to cope up with many other things …

You can be compassionate with yourself !...The child within you needs your support, love and nurturing !

Because Every child is Special.
