Day Three

Rahul:Using Public transport today...No..I have not become responsible citizen :-)... Not sure of the Parking facility ! :-)
But Public Transport is not bad at all.
I can see the increase in traffic levels ...!
Reached on time ... One more day...one more beginning !
Raghav : Good day ! All the best !

Day Two !

Raghav : so how's day 2?
Rahul : Not bad .. :-)... I think lot of things depend on us...for example ... Yesterday not everyone was following instructions ... They did not had all the documents etc. There is lack of 'Professional' attitude.
Raghav : Have you read the book by Bagachi's "The Professional " book ? It talks about the same thing.
Rahul: I think it is our responsibility as employe and/or employer. ...to manage the culture and nurture talent.

Late evening !

Raghav : hope you enjoyed your day 1, kohi achhi ladki thi kya ?
Rahul: Oh !... No jokes :-(
It is about 7.30..... AC is switched off .... Taired...!
Raghav : ok..got it... Cool ! Chill ! Go home and relax !

After Tea !

Rahul : Ah!.... Feeling good after tea.
I think few more sessions...then we are done...
In fact whatever I complained was more as note to myself to take care when I start my company .. As employe I don't think I will complain but as employer I will definitetly take care about the first day experience and the connect with the organaization... After all they make the company.
Ok.. Few more hours before I'm back home.

... Post lunch

Rahul : Yawn ! ..
Lunch is a good motivator..esply when it is free ...!
Food was good :-).... I mean for your health ... Taste was such that you will eat less !
But it was good break from the boring presentations !..time to network and compare your old company ..after a while you become close to other guys...you don' mind sharing cigarette ...even start discussing CTC...
Post lunch was about opening Bank Account ....as many time you change company those many bank accounts...
Waiting for Tea break .!

One more time--after few hours...

Rahul : after waiting for few more minutes (20 min)..we were asked to move to a conf room... We could seat now ...!
Session was to be started at 9.30... At 10.00 , one guy came and said " There are lot of people joining today...take 15min break..."
As if..they didn't know that people are joining !!

At last at 10.30 we started ... Started filling forms...and others who were joining were not less.... Most of them wanted to take photocopies... Don't have tye details...etc...etc.
Scary part was HR mentioned the induction will continue next day also ! Alas !

One more time!

My friend Rahul is joining a new company and he had promised to post his experience !.. Lets see..
Rahul:Raghav...the repoting time is 9.30 ... As usual I reached before time... Reaching the venue was like a winning the maze game...still reached on time. Reported at the reception ...he asks me to take a seat... But all are already occupied ..i'm too old sit on anybody's lap :-)
Raghav : then what happned?
